IF - routine

"Dogs have to have their daily routine, even if it's raining!"
For Illustration Friday this week...I'm working on adding some more diverse ethnic backgrounds of kids for my portfolio. I tend to always draw red-headed girls in pigtails or braids, so I'm branching out and trying new things and it feels good! It feels good to challenge myself and get out of my comfort zone. I won't leave little red-haired girl forever, though. She still has my heart.

Thats very cute Nina, you're so talented! I tend to draw the same sort of girls too. I wanna try to start drawing men more.. and get out of my comfort zone also. Goodluck with it !

This is great! Me, too! I'm always drawing girls -- usually in pairs, because I'm always imagining my daughters. I should follow your inspiration to branch out more. This little girls is adorable. Even the rain cloud seems to be attracted to her!

This is great. I love the simple clouds and what a cute little dog. And good job pushing yourself to explore. Nice!

Super cute , Nina. Very smart move in terms of making different ethnic backgrounds of kids in your portfolio. I'm always trying to get that in also!

This is so sweet and a good idea for the theme. I know only too well the dog walking routine! I struggle to draw people at all so I admire those who can.
